Working with the CIF (Construction Industry Federation) , in March 2024,
we once again managed their International Women’s day event. We wanted to support the team in getting the event trending on the day again, for our third year working with them.
Event preparation began in October 2023 with the team as we worked to design the event theme in line with their brand guidelines, design sponsor packages to attract supporters, book and manage the venue and liaise with vendors to execute this year’s event.
We partnered with our suppliers on AV, Photography and event theme partners to create a floral display & pledge wall and props, creating those ‘instagramable’ images of the event which could be shared. In addition, we designed the social media strategy and graphics for the pre, live and post event activity.
The event sold out in record time with 20 Sponsors on board to support the event , leading to a cost neutral event for the organisation, and for the attendance we had 360 guests at the Castleknock Hotel in Dublin and an additional 200 online via a live stream.
In addition, Iris co-hosted the event as the online facilitator for the live streaming audience, with shout outs for the attendees watching remotely and to help drive engagement and encourage sharing of posts about the event. The event successfully trended as top 4 with X on the day – with #1 being #InternationalWomensday.
